Dry Ice

Extreme cold without residues

Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide that sublimates without leaving liquids, remaining stable at -78.5°C.

Dryce produces two formats of dry ice:

  • Technical dry ice is used where direct contact with food is not intended, as a means of thermoregulation in any type of isothermal container. Available in 2.9, 10 and 16 mm pellets, 500 g slices, and 5 and 10 kg blocks.

  • E290 dry ice, a certified "food grade" food additive, is produced and distributed according to strict HACCP standards and can be used in the preparation of foods such as ground meats, doughs, oil, and wine. It is available in 2.9 and 16 mm pellets.
